Hariharan Ragothaman is a Software Engineer at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc (AMD). Prior to this, he served as a Lead Software Engineer - System Design and Architecture (Manager) at athenahealth where he designed and developed 'Unified Deployment Pipeline' to integrate multiple tech stacks, enhancing service visibility, security and improving release and product quality. His work in commercializing the macro-service hybrid cloud (Amazon EKS, AWS Local Zones, and AWS Outposts) was a major step towards modernizing the athenaOne platform. During his time at Bose Corporation as an Embedded Software Engineer, he developed scalable firmware for the next generation of Wireless Speakers, Headphones and Home theaters. He also made key contributions to Alexa Voice Service (AVS) and Google Voice Assistant (GVA) integrations with Bose ecosystem, creating unique scalable frameworks. His technical expertise spanss DevSecOps, Distributed Systems, scalable microservices for event-driven architectures, embedded systems, and robotics. His work has contributed significantly to critical projects in cloud environments using AWS and Azure. An active member of the engineering community, Hariharan is a Senior Member of the IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, and the International Society of Automation (ISA), and a committed member of the ACM and Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS) Fellow and IETE Fellow. He regularly serves as a reviewer for prestigious conferences, including NeurIPS, ICLR, IEEE ANTS, iLRN, AAAI, and IEEE EDUCON. His dedication to technical excellence has earned him several accolades, including the athenahealth Hall of Fame - Impact Award and multiple Employee Recognition Awards from Bose Corporation. Hariharan’s research, focusing on DevSecOps, Machine learning, Infrastructure Automation and computer graphics, and has been published in leading journals and presented at international conferences. Beyond his technical contributions, Hariharan is passionate about mentorship and education. He actively judges global hackathons and serves as a Technical Program Chair for initiatives advancing engineering education. As a keynote speaker, he has addressed international forums on topics ranging from artificial intelligence to software development. Driven by innovation and committed to fostering technological advancement, Hariharan continues to make significant contributions to both industry and academia.
